Tea Party Cloths

Have you ever asked: "What should I wear to a Tea Party?" We no longer live in the Victorian Era when they had special dresses known as the "Afternoon Tea Dress". So what do we wear to an Afternoon Tea?

There are no hard-fast rules or etiquette protocols to follow now days as what to wear to a tea party. This goes for adults and children alike.

I have always 'dressed up' when I paid a visit to a Tea Room or have attended a Tea Party, as many women and children do. Usually because it's a special occasion or just for the novelty of it all!

There are not too many occasions for us to dress up for now days. I remember dressing up just to go down town when I was a little girl. My Aunt Rose would put us in a dress, lace bobby socks, and our black patented leather shoes and off we would go. And then there was church, birthday parties, holidays, weddings, events at school, a visit to Grandma’s house... Oh, those were the days! I did so love to get dressed up.

So, go ahead and dress up for a tea party. That's half the fun of it! Dress and skirts are back in style big time! There are so many styles to choose from.

Make your Afternoon Tea experience special and your little girl will always remember how she dressed up and looked like a little princess for a tea party.
