For Second Weddings, Brides sometimes forgo the shower because they usually have the items you would receive at a wedding shower. However you could have a Themed Shower. The guest could bring gifts that go with just the theme. Such as Linens for the bath, bedroom, and kitchen. Or Honeymoon items…need I say more?

As I have stated before a Bridal Tea is a time for the Bride to acknowledge her bridal party and to thank them for participating in her wedding. The Bride gives a gift of appreciation to each of her Bridesmaids and her Maid of Honor. This would also be a good time to remember the Mother-of-the-Bride with a special gift of appreciation too. Many Brides have a much smaller affair the second time around, but times are changing and a larger second wedding is not uncommon. If you are having a bridal party it would be nice to acknowledge them. This is also a nice time to acknowledge your Mother and your new Mother-In-Law.
