A Mother - Daughter Tea Party

Start a New Tradition. Have a Mother's Tea Party to Honor the Mother-of-the-Bride & Mother-In-Law.

Mothers play a BIG part in our lives and this is a very special time, for both you and her. After all, her Daughter is getting married! And if she’s anything like me, she’ll be doing everything in her power to make this the most memorable wedding ever!

Having a Mother - Daughter Tea Party is a wonderful way to show her that you appreciate everything she's done.

You may also choose to honor your soon-to-be Mother In-law! This would mean a lot to her. She will be honored that you also thought of her at this special time.

Or, You could wait until after the wedding and host a Mother’s Tea Party. To show them how much you appreciated all that they had done to help you plan and prepare for your wedding day.

The Bride hosts this tea party. Ask a close friend or family member to help. Preparing for this Tea Party is basically like preparing for the other Tea Parties.

Ideas:

*Have a special speech prepared to present to them.

*Present them with a small gift, as a token of appreciation.

*Present them with a small bouquet or corsage in their favorite flowers.

*Tell about the first time you met your new Mother-In-Law.

*Tell about the first time you introduced your fiancé to your parents.

*If you are doing this after the Wedding, have a Poster Collage of pictures set up of the events that lead up to the wedding. Ones that show your Mother and Mother-in-law doing things to prepare for the wedding.

*Don't Forget the Camera!
