Bridal Shower Tea Party Games
Here are a few Bridal Shower Tea Party Games
I have played at Wedding Showers.
They are fun and entertaining.
Everything But The Kitchen Sink!
Prepare ahead a list of items that women carry in their purses.
List 'normal' things like: a wallet, lipstick, check book, pen, pictures, etc.
Also be creative. List things like:
- a paper clip
- a rubber band
- band-aids
- receipt for the last trip to the grocery store
- a love note from their husband/boyfriend
- hair clip
- a parking or bus token
- a parking ticket
- date book
- handkerchief
- gloves
- an invitation to the Tea Party
- a cell phone
- a color cell phone (other than black or silver)
- an eye glass repair kit
- business cards
- …the list can go on and on!
Give each item a point value. Call out each item. Have guests check their purse for each item called. If they have that item, they get those points. The one with the most points wins!
A Spot Of Tea?
Put on your thinking caps, this game is a bit unusual! I thought it would be fun since the tradition of Tea Parties did come from Europe. Simply call out the items listed below and have the guests write down what the British call it! The person with the most right wins!

What Will I Need?

Help the new Bride know what she’ll need to stock her tea party cabinet! (this is a traditional game adapted to the theme)
Place common and unusual tea party items on a Tea Tray.
Like a special flavor of tea in a individually wrapped tea bag, a tea flower, a lemon squeezer, tea bag holder, a lemon plate, a tea ball, a tea infuser, a drip doily, a tea-plate, etc. Have the Tea Tray be one of the items counted on the list.
Place a tea towel over the items until it’s time to display them. Before the game begins, display the items for everyone to see. Time the viewing for about 2 minutes.
Place the tea towel over the Tea tray and have everyone list all the items they remember seeing on the tray. The one with the most items listed wins!
The Wedding Alphabet Game
The host starts with a sentence using the letter "A" to describe a wedding item or tradition.
For example: In a sentence she describes "I went to a wedding and brought an Apron for a gift".
The next guest must repeat this sentence and add another item at the end of the sentence starting with the letter "B".
For example: "I went to a wedding and brought an Apron and a Bowl for a gift."
The next guest does the same thing and adds an item starting with the letter "C".
Anyone unable to add a 'wedding gift' item must drop out of the game. The person who stays alive the longest wins the prize.
Wedding Word Scramble
Everyone has 10 minutes to unscramble the words. The person who unscrambles the most wins the prize.
