About Me

Victorian Lady with umbrella Hello, My name is JoAnn Brewer and I’d like to tell you a little about myself.

I’m married to a wonderful man. We have 3 grown children, (two boys and a girl) and 4 grandchildren, (three girls and one boy). They are all a Blessing!

I am 50 years old and have done many things in my life. As I look back I realized how much I had been involved in and the experience I have accumulated. I would like to pass my knowledge and experience along to you.

I have been involved in planning, decorating, and hosting tea parties, baby showers, bridal showers, second wedding teas, Christian ladies retreats and teas, hosting and decorating for a family reunion, baking and wedding cakes, decorating for vacation bible school programs and day care summer programs, sewing and crafts, and just special times with my friends and family over the 30 some years.

As you can tell, I love everything Victorian! It has always been my hearts desire to open a Victorian Tea Room. Since my family has had many restaurants, I know it’s hard work! As in many things that are worth having. Having a “Virtual” Tea Room is the next best thing!

God has laid it on my heart to share my knowledge and experience with people. I find that “Tea” is a common factor of friendship, fellowship, refreshment, sharing, and hospitality. And since I also believe that it is everyone’s “calling” to show Christian hospitality, I have decided to open a web site about Tea Parties. So you may learn the hows and whys of hosting your own tea party and sharing your hospitality with others!
